Meet our Tutors!

My name is Anna Pizzale, and I am a first-year Nursing student at the University of Western Ontario with a strong academic foundation in both English and Kinesiology. My passion for English began early through years of creative writing clubs at my local library, where I developed strong communication skills and earned my high school’s Creative Writing Award twice. In Kinesiology, I excelled in anatomy, human movement, and sports science, earning high 90s and Honour Roll throughout all four years of high school. I now continue this interest through Western’s student-led Anatomy Association. Beyond academics, I enjoy reading, hiking, and playing pickleball, and I have extensive experience working with children ages 3–14 through four years of teaching swimming and skiing lessons.

Hello! I am Annie Caughill, founder of A+ Academics. My journey in education started in my hometown of Collingwood, a small, close-knit community where I learned the value of teamwork—both on and off the basketball court. In high school, I maintained a 95+ average, and I am now studying biochemistry at Western University. I’m actively involved on campus as a member of the Science Students’ Council and serve as the First-Year Science Representative. Tutoring has always been a meaningful part of my life, and I started A+ Academics to help students build confidence and find their own path to success.

My name is David Gustof, and I am pursuing a double major in Mathematics and English Language & Literature at the University of Western Ontario. Over the past five years, I have upheld an unwavering commitment to education as a Mathematics and English Tutor, while concurrently holding a two-year tenure at JonAyves Learning Club, where I serve as an Operations & Outreach Coordinator and a K-12 Curriculum Development Specialist. Beyond academics, I am deeply passionate about Hip-Hop dance, having been a five-time qualifier for Team Canada’s Hip-Hop Crew. Complementing these pursuits, I contribute actively to my university community as the Director of Marketing & Communications at ACE Western, a Junior Editor at The Mirror, and the Floor Representative of my residence.
